校徽說明


王端敏女士設計

 

  1. 輔仁的「仁」字是會意字，從「二」從「人」。準此而取二「人」，左右各一，合成校徽的「仁」字。

  2. 唯有在基督內的天主救恩，才能「輔」助人們達至「仁」的境界，所以置十字架聖號於二人之間，表達「以基督救恩輔仁」的完整象徵意象；亦含有輔仁聖博敏神學院設立的目標：培育聖職人員及平信徒的牧靈人才。

  3. 以國字為結構主體，配合我國傳統思想中陰陽調合的觀念，表現地方教會的色彩。

 

SYMBOL OF THE SCHOOL

  1. Fu Jen means ‘to sustain benevolence’. The character, Jen, benevolence, is composed of two persons facing each other, as shown in our symbol. 

  2. Only in Christ does God sustain (fu) us to reach perfect benevolence (jen). Hence, a cross is set between the two persons. This reflects the purpose of the Fu Jen Faculty of Theology of St. Robert Bellarmine, which is to form clergy and laity as messengers of the salvation Christ brings. 

  3. The symbol is constructed like a Chinese character and conforms to the traditional balance of yin and yang, thus indicating the particularity of the local Church.
